Luan
About the Job
Written as Albanian American, though open to talent with any Eastern or Southeastern European background. Sensitive, imaginative, and emotionally perceptive beyond his years, Luan is a lonely child growing up between worlds in 1993 New York City. Feminine without fully understanding what that means yet, he moves through life with a quiet awkwardness - curious, emotionally porous, theatrical, and constantly observing the people around him. Living in a chaotic home with a frustrated mother and emotionally absent father, Luan escapes into fantasy, performance, old movies, and the freedom he discovers downtown. Beneath his sweetness is a growing ache to be seen, loved, and understood in a world that already senses he is different before he does. LEAD. PLEASE DENOTE IN NOTES IF TALENT CAN SPEAK AN EASTERN EUROPEAN LANGUAGE. NOT A REQUIREMENT BUT A PLUS.
